The Finest in Feline Accommodation


Our indoor accommodation area is fully air conditioned, units allow for exercise and are equipped with  bedding, toys and scratching posts.

For same family guests who prefer an outdoor style of living, our family garden verandah suites are ideal. Designed with cozy sleeping dens and an adjoining mini atrium, with cushions and seating.  Suitable for play or to simply relax in filtered sunlight, overlooking a tranquil garden setting. Guests are treated to cuddles and playtime in their own family suites.

All the accessories are optional, we are happy if your feline wants to bring their own accessories.

We are a small yet unique cat boarding establishment allowing us to provide individual attention, affection and supervision to each and every cat in our care.

Our indoor guests are offered exclusive individual time in our outdoor catplay enclosure, lots of cuddles and attention in a very spacious area providing both sun and shade. A totally secure and protected play setting with a variety of toys and viewing points for their enjoyment and stimulation.

For the health and well being of all our guests, there is no direct contact between cats unless they are from the same family group.

We are constantly mindful of the need to provide the very best of care and standards in cleanliness to each of our guests and this criteria is continually met. All accommodation and play areas are hygienically maintained daily.

At Arakan we want your cat to enjoy their mealtime. Let us know their favourite foods in advance and we will provide their individual meals at their usual meal time.  We are happy to cater for any special feeding needs.

If one of our guest's becomes ill during their stay efforts will be made to contact the owner. The Owner's recommended veterinary surgeon will be contacted if possible. If they cannot be reached, and the situation is an emergency then our on-call vet will be contacted. The owner will be responsible for all veterinary fees incurred.

At check-in Owner/s are asked to sign an agreement form for boarding and authorisation to have their cat/s treated by a vet if required.

Current vaccination certificates must be produced on the day of check-in. No cat will be accepted without a current vaccination certificate. At check-in time a minimum payment of 50% of total boarding fees are paid. The balance to be finalised prior to the cat/s departure.
